England U23s ready for European road race in Italy

England Athletics is delighted to announce eight athletes selected to represent England at the Corsa Dei Castelli European Under 23 road race on 19 October in Italy. The selected men and women will compete over 10k against nations from around Europe in the beautiful coastal city of Trieste.

Masters marathon team announced

The Masters Representative Marathon takes place in Abingdon, Oxfordshire on 19 October and is likely to be a very fast race. We are pleased to announce the masters athletes who have qualified to compete and earn themselves an England Age Group Masters vest. Prospective team members had to finish in the top 3 of a qualifying race, plus achieve a relevant qualification standard at the qualifying race or within three calendar months prior to the date of the race.

England gold rush at Masters International 10k

This year’s Masters International 10k was staged within the AJ Bell Great North event up in Newcastle with the famous Tyne Bridge as a backdrop. With the addition of both Northern Ireland and the UK Armed Forces, together with traditional rivals Wales, this was the most expansive masters international road race since the inception of the programme several years ago.
