England team announced for 2026 Cardiff Home Nations 

England Athletics is delighted to announce four strong teams, filled with exciting debuts, selected to represent England at the Cardiff Home Nations 5k on Sunday 27 September 2026

Cardiff has been one of the most hotly contested home internationals on the calendar and we’re so glad to see it return for 2026 in the new slot at the end of September.  

Women's teams

Senior

National Endurance Manager for Off-Track Andrew Heyes said: 

"Cardiff promises to be one of the fasters 5ks in the country and we were so impressed by the depth of interest to race for England. Our focus for this Home Nations is to provide international experience to debutants and those building on their first or second vest. It’ll be really exciting to see how the teams go on in what will now doubt be a competitive field.
