England Masters back in action over 5k

This weekend the England Masters team will be back in action, this time over the 5k in Shrewsbury.

The 5k will be the penultimate representative race of this season. England are fielding both an A Team, and a development team. The competition is expected to be as hot as the weather as England take on Wales, Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom Armed Forces (UKAF).

Fresh from winning the M35 and M40 categories in the recent Swansea Half, UKAF athletes William Ewens and Adam Baker are back to try and make it two in a row. They will be up against England's Ben Robinson (M35) who has ran 14.18 this year, and John Beattie (M40) who has ran 14.19 this year.

The women's W55 category looks to be very close with only 16 seconds dividing Sharon Dixon, Helen Rochester, Sarah May, and Jeanette Mcfadzean.
