Five-time Olympian Jo Pavey MBE recently joined up with her local RunTogether group, Cranbrook Running Club, for their Couch to 5k session, chatting with members about their experiences in the sport so far and sharing some of her expertise with them.

Coming up in 2026 

We're looking forward to another exciting year in 2026! We'll have our top athletes competing for England at the Commonwealth Games. Leading up to that - come and watch the indoor champs action in Sheffield and other teams representing on the roads, mountains and cross country. We'll also be at the National Running Show and the Marathon Expo. Later this year we welcome the return of our Hall of Fame and Volunteer Awards.

RunTogether groups across the country are finding creative ways to bring people together, and the Pub Run Club is a perfect example of how running can strengthen community ties.

Electric atmosphere at England 10k champs

A crisp winter's day at the iconic Abbey Dash 10k played host to the England Senior 10k Championships for the first time under the stewardship of Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All. Despite the chilly conditions, the atmosphere was electric as over 10,000 runners took to the streets as they raced to Kirkstall Abbey and back. The event - renowned for its fast and flat course - attracted a stellar field of elite athletes and wheelchair racers alongside thousands of club runners, and charity fundraisers.

This year’s Masters representative marathon between England and Wales took place in Abingdon, Oxfordshire as part of the Abingdon Marathon. This was the 41st edition of a race which is run on a fast flat course - starting and finishing on the athletics track.

A strong team of athletes represented England at the Corsa dei Castelli point to point race in Trieste, Italy. Strong performances from all athletes resulted in two team silvers. There was also an individual podium third from Rebecca Flaherty.
