England half marathon masters ready to take on Wales, N. Ireland and Armed Forces

All roads lead to South Wales for the England Masters team as we approach their third representative race of the season. This time it is the half marathon, which is being held as part of the Mizuno Swansea Half Marathon on Sunday 7 June. England runners will be up against those selected from Wales, Northern Ireland and UK Armed Forces.

Starting in the iconic Swansea Arena, runners pass through the city centre, then the course makes its way past Swansea Castle and towards the village of Mumbles on the Gower Peninsula, before working its way back to the city centre. There is barely any elevation gain so the flat course is known to be fast - and with stunning views.

Having won the women's race and broken the course record at the recent Bideford 10k, all eyes will be on Christa Cain (Best Athletics) and whether she can make it two in a row.
