England Athletics is delighted to announce the athletes selected to represent England at the Anglo Celtic Plate 100km. This year the event will take place in Ireland on 21 March 2026. Team announced for Armagh International 2026

England Athletics is delighted to announce a strong team of eight athletes selected to represent England at the 2026 Armagh International Road Races on Thursday 12 February 2026. An England team has represented at this event for a number of years and it is a great opportunity for our developing road runners. The women compete over 3k whilst the Men’s race takes place over 5k.

Coming up in 2026 

We're looking forward to another exciting year in 2026! We'll have our top athletes competing for England at the Commonwealth Games. Leading up to that - come and watch the indoor champs action in Sheffield and other teams representing on the roads, mountains and cross country. We'll also be at the National Running Show and the Marathon Expo. Later this year we welcome the return of our Hall of Fame and Volunteer Awards.

Electric atmosphere at England 10k champs

A crisp winter's day at the iconic Abbey Dash 10k played host to the England Senior 10k Championships for the first time under the stewardship of Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All. Despite the chilly conditions, the atmosphere was electric as over 10,000 runners took to the streets as they raced to Kirkstall Abbey and back. The event - renowned for its fast and flat course - attracted a stellar field of elite athletes and wheelchair racers alongside thousands of club runners, and charity fundraisers.
