Team staff opportunities 2026

We have a small number of England team staff opportunities for 2026 - at the National School Games Finals and also some road and mountain running team roles. Effective team staff members are expected to demonstrate a wide range of other personal skills, qualities and experience which are specific to the role. This year we are focussing on team coach and team manager roles.

The latest Masters workshop in St Ives (Cambs) attracted athletes from far and wide, including Folkestone, Weston-super-Mare, Stockport and Southport. The day started with an outline of the Masters programme and 2026 qualification opportunities for England athletes. Jana Wilkins delivered a session on 'nutrition for masters athletes' and rogramme co-ordinator Chris Hollinshead delivered a group training session on the track.

Ultra athlete team announced for Anglo Celtic Plate

England Athletics is delighted to announce the athletes selected to represent England at the Anglo Celtic Plate 100km. This year the event will take place in Ireland on 21 March 2026. The competition sees teams from Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland compete for the Anglo-Celtic Plate.
