England Athletics is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our friend, colleague and top technical official Malcolm Rogers. He will be greatly missed by the sport. Recognised with an MBE in the 2023 King’s Birthday Honours, he was central to great athletics events and even recently had been assisting the Birmingham 2026 organising committee plan for this summer’s European Championships.

Yeovil Olympiads AC have been on an incredible journey and at the heart of that journey has been the steps they have taken to be a well managed club by working through the England Athletics Club Standards. In January 2024 the club were rocked by the news that the Council planned to close the athletics track and other sporting facilities in the area. Junior women at Hannut cross country 2026

Great conditions, great performances at Hannut CrossCup

The Hannut fixture of the EnergyVision CrossCup took place on 25 January 2026. On a very unseasonal crisp, sunny - albeit chilly - day and a firm course underfoot one had to wonder is this really the Hannut we know and love so much for the rain and mud. Dry underfoot conditions disappointed the mud specialists but were a vast contrast from the wet conditions the previous year!
