England Athletics marathon champions crowned

The England Athletics Marathon Championships returned to the largest ever Manchester Marathon for a beautiful spring day, as more than 40,000 runners raced through the streets as the England Champions were crowned by the finish of the stunning Manchester Museum. The athletes couldn’t have asked for better conditions, with barely a breath of wind and blue skies. Yohan Lidove, of France, and Naomi Robinson won the male and female races respectively, while Callum Hall became wheelchair champion.

Youth Talent Programme team to take on the elite in Germany

We are pleased to announce an England team comprised entirely of athletes on our Youth Talent Programme for the well-established Halle Throws event in Germany. It's the first time a YTP team have been selected and they hope to make their mark at this historic throwing competition - and hopefully gain selection standards and rankings for the European U18 or World U20 championships.

England team set to represent at World Athletics Race Walking Challenge

As a prestigious event on the calendar, England Athletics is thrilled to be sending a team to Madrid for the first time to compete at the World Athletics Race Walking Challenge. The timing of the event, on 31 May, provides a great opportunity for our athletes who are looking for Commonwealth Games qualification and the chance to compete at Junior international championships this year.
