Running together can save lives: Hayley's story

After suffering from bullying as a child, Hayley started running as a way to improve her physical and mental wellbeing. Running soon became an important part of Hayley’s life, and she went on to set up an inclusive social running group called Jolly Joggers. The group focuses on mental wellbeing, aiming to help people of all ages to move more for their mental health and to find connections with like-minded people.

England Athletics Age Group Combined Events Champs and U20 Home Countries International: preview

After last month’s England Championships in various age groups, it is next the turn of the under 17 and under 15 combined eventers as they compete for national titles. Meanwhile, held with this event on the Saturday will be an under 20 international featuring England A and B teams taking on those representing Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as guest athletes.

Following selection trials last month, England Athletics is pleased to announce that 4 strong mountain running teams will travel to Ireland on 14 September, with high hopes of retaining the Edinburgh Trophy (overall team trophy).
