This indoor throws event in Sweden provided the rare opportunity for long throws to be contested indoors - an experience that many athletes on the team had never encountered before. The team’s performance was nothing short of impressive, with two indoor British records, four winners, and eight personal bests including new indoor PBs.

Masters invited to compete at the England Indoor National Championships

England Athletics are delighted to welcome a selection of masters athletes to compete at the England Indoor National Championships on 9 March in Sheffield. We will be inviting the top six masters athletes to compete in the 200m and 800m in each of the age categories from V35 to V65. Last year there were a staggering 1645 athletes who raced over 200m, with 1773 racing the 800m.
