Fantastic performances for England's race walkers in Spain

A relatively new event on the calendar, the Madrid Marcha has become the stage for exceptional racers, attracting athletes from all over the world – including Olympic, World, continental champions and some of the best specialists on the planet! The England team had varying levels of experience, for some, the race being their England debut, others aiming for championship qualification. All the athletes performed fantastically in incredibly hot conditions and learnt a lot from the experience.

Bedford will play host to the England Athletics U20, Senior and Para Championships and the Age Group Championships this summer.
