Age Group changes: transition plan update

The Home Country Athletics Federations (HCAFs) are today releasing further key pieces of information on how the Age Group changes will be implemented when they come into effect in 2026. This information includes the technical details related to each age group, including the specifications of throwing implements, maximum and recommended race distances on and off the track, and hurdle heights and race distances.

The second Regional Volunteer Awards saw us paying a visit to the West Midlands area last night. Hannah Cockroft wins her ninth Paralympic Gold! Days 8-10 at the Paralympic Games

This weekend saw the final few days of the Paralympic Games and what a way to end. Hannah Cockroft won her ninth Paralympic Gold, with Didi Okoh winning bronze in a dramatic T63 100m final on the penultimate day. Whilst Isaac Towers and Zac Skinner unfortunately missed out on the podium. The final day saw the men's and women's Paralympic marathon, where we saw David Weir's final race for ParalympicsGB.

Margaret has been a Technical Official for over 40 years and took her International Starter exam 10 years ago. But what got her ‘started’ in the first place? As is the journey for many athletes, coaches and indeed officials, it began with an inspirational PE teacher. England team selected for Copenhagen Half Marathon
