Day two of the England U20, U17 and U15 Open Indoor Championships never fails to deliver when it comes to upsets, formbook victories, drama and, of course on more than one occasion, high emotion.

Day 1 of the England Athletics U20, U17 and U15 Open Indoor Championships, powered by Citroën, saw a string of superb performances in eight intense, action-packed hours of world class action. 

World best in his age group, Divine Iheme, is set to star in the 60m, while Shaikira King, Otis Poole and Celine Obinna-Alo are among some of the other highly promising athletes due to appear at these second England Athletics championships of the year - 7-8 February at the EIS in Sheffield.

Day two at the England Senior, U20 Combined Events, Walks and Para Championships did not disappoint with personal bests across the multi-events at this early point in the season.

The England Athletics Senior and U20 Indoor Combined Event Championships - incorporating the Senior Para and Walk Championships got under way with Swansea’s Matilda Quick crowned the first national champion of the year.

The England Athletics Senior and U20 Indoor Combined Event Championships 2026 - incorporating the Senior Para and Walk Championships - will take place this coming weekend at the EIS in Sheffield. As ever, the four competitions – the women’s pentathlon, U20 women’s pentathlon, the men’s heptathlon and U20 men’s heptathlon – feature an impressive entry, many of whom have their eye on this summer’s major championships.
