As we draw closer to April 2025, it is vital that all affiliated athletics and running clubs across the country do their part to ensure they abide by the Club Safeguarding Code of Conduct as outlined in our Club Standards for 2025 and beyond to both protect their athlete’s wellbeing and stay compliant with England Athletics’ club affiliation requirements. We have been working closely with our affiliated clubs to ensure a fun and safe environment is available to their athletes and coaches by appointing club welfare officers before the April deadline.

A misty cold day met the athletes as they took to the start line at Temple Newsam, Leeds for the 2025 Home Countries International. The course ahead of them was a continual rolling set of hills that would be very demanding, although firm underfoot. All the England athletes took the challenge in their stride producing a series of impressive performances.

New Clean Coach eLearning course now available

Coach Clean is an easy-to-follow eLearning journey hosted on UKAD's Clean Sport Hub. The course is for coaches who want to know more about clean sport and understand their own responsibilities with regards to anti-doping. Developed in collaboration with UK Coaching, this programme has been fully endorsed against CIMSPA professional standards and ensures that the most up-to-date information is available in one course relating to the coach’s role.
