Not only is it the unforgettable performances of the athletes which engrave those memories in our minds, but it is also the voices of those announcers and commentators calling the races or field events which stick with us. For England Athletics announcers Rosie Tinbergen and Harrison Mayne, it is dreams of an Olympic final which drive them to become the best they can be.

UK Athletics has today confirmed an amendment to age groups as part of the Rule Change Proposals for the 2024 – 2026 Rule Book has been approved at a recent UKA Board meeting. The rule change will come into effect from 1 April 2026

England team selection for London International Cross Country

Later this month, a team of 16 athletes will represent England at the inaugural London International Cross Country. Part of the UK Cross Challenge, within the Home Countries International, athletes will battle it out across the 10km course, split over five 2km laps. Dubbed the ‘Night of the 10,000m PBs for cross country’, it is set to be an exciting day of racing.

England team ready to take on Valencia 10k

A team of six athletes are preparing to represent England at one of the World's fastest 10km races in Valencia on 14 January. The team, which includes a mix of  experienced athletes and debutants will compete against may of the world's best 10k runners at the 10k Valencia Ibercaja race.

Preview: England Athletics Senior and U20 Indoor Combined Events, Para and Walks Championships

Another season of indoor championship athletics will get under way at the excellent English Institute of Sport Arena, Sheffield, this weekend. The bulk of the action will be in the England Athletics Senior and U20 Indoor Combined Events Championships. Several athletes are also entered for the England Para Championships in the ambulant events and England Walks Championships. The British Milers’ Club will hold a number of races as part of the programme on Sunday.
