CEO Blog: Marking World Mental Health Day

Hopefully by shining a spotlight on the importance of mental health and wellbeing, we can help people who may be struggling to realise that they are not alone, that this is not something to be defined by. That we are all on that journey, feeling sometimes that sadly we are doing our best just to get through the day. Hopefully within our sport we can signpost more people to our wonderful Mental Health Champions and run leaders who offer their expertise and humanity to help individuals, families and communities across England through the #RunAndTalk initiative.

We loved having so many people visit our stand and had the opportunity to talk to some truly inspiring individuals, from seasoned marathon veterans to those about to take on their first 26.2 mile adventure.
