New Safeguarding Regulations

UK Athletics and the four Home Country Athletics Federations have a responsibility to safeguard, protect and promote the welfare of Children and Adults at Risk under their care. UK Athletics have formally confirmed a policy of Zero Tolerance towards safeguarding concerns. To ensure an appropriate response, UKA has produced these Safeguarding Regulations to consider and manage safeguarding concerns.
Running Buddies RunTogether group

Local running groups join forces to fundraise for charity. 

After a long-time member of the Running Buddies RunTogether group was diagnosed with breast cancer, the group joined forces with a local England Athletics affiliated running group - Team Balancise RC - to raise money for charity. The 28 Day Hill Rep Challenge has shown the strength of the running community, helping to raise an incredible total of over £6,000.

September 2024: Performance round up

Now the 2024 track and field season has drawn to a close, let’s look back on all the athletics and running action from September. The Paralympic Games in Paris concluded the 2024 track and field season in style, and England athletes have seen success on the roads and in the mountains and the delayed National Cross Championships kick started the cross country season!

Volunteer Awards evening 2024: South East

The South East Volunteer Awards took place last night in Dorking. It was an inspiring evening devoted to celebrating the hard work, dedication and passion shown by volunteers throughout the South East.

Hall of Fame and Awards Evening is back for 2024

Launched in 2008, we have now inducted over 120 athletes, coaches and important figures in the history of athletics and running into our prestigious Hall of Fame. After a year away, the Hall of Fame is now back, and will be held in Leicester on 2 November. To be a part of a special celebration of our wonderful sport, you can purchase tickets to join us for the evening dinner and awards presentation which will also feature the winners of the 2024 England Athletics’ National Volunteer Awards.
