England Athletics is proud to announce an Open indoor 400m masters event, taking place on Sunday 8 March, incorporated into the England Athletics indoor Age Group Combined Events and Junior Para Championships weekend at the EIS in Sheffield. This event is open to all athletes aged 35 and above. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or looking to challenge yourself on the big stage, this is your chance to shine and inspire our younger athletes - plus win prize money.

We're looking forward to another exciting year in 2026! We'll have our top athletes competing for England at the Commonwealth Games. Leading up to that - come and watch the indoor champs action in Sheffield and other teams representing on the roads, mountains and cross country. We'll also be at the National Running Show and the Marathon Expo. Later this year we welcome the return of our Hall of Fame and Volunteer Awards.

From U23 to masters teams and road running to the start of the cross country season, England teams have been putting in strong performances throughout October. Let’s look back on some of the highlights from the past month in our October performance round up.

Taking home a grand total of 132 gold medals, 102 silver medals and 77 bronze medals, the European Masters Athletics Championships in Madeira was definitely one to remember for Great Britain!

This year’s Masters representative marathon between England and Wales took place in Abingdon, Oxfordshire as part of the Abingdon Marathon. This was the 41st edition of a race which is run on a fast flat course - starting and finishing on the athletics track.

We recently caught up with former international athlete, Keri, and her dad Graham, to learn about how athletics has been a big shared passion for them throughout their life, and how they have rekindled their enjoyment later in life.
