England para teams selected for Nottwil and Paris Grand Prix

We are pleased to announce that we will be sending two England para teams to the upcoming Nottwil Grand Prix in Switzerland and Paris Grand Prix next month.

England triumph at Trofeo Opitergium Road Race

This week the England under-20 contingent was in action at the Trofeo Opitergium Road Race taking place in the beautiful Italian town of Oderzo against seven strong European teams. Spectacular to watch, the race takes place over a series of 1km loops, with the teams completing ten laps during the 10km race. Despite not taking place at the peak of summer, the athletes still had to contend with very humid conditions which affected some in the latter stages.

Team announced for Senior Home International

England Athletics are pleased to announce the mountain running team for the 13th Mountain Running Home International which will take place on 11 May in Scotland. This year's host event - the Glas Tulaichean Hill Race - is relatively short uphill-only race and will provide a fast but very tough challenge for all the athletes. As usual we are expecting some fantastic racing in both men’s and women’s events.

Athletes summit Skiddaw to claim England Championship success

The Senior England Mountain Running Championships took place on 19 April at the UK Up Hill Only Mountain Championship and trial for the European Off Road Running Championships. Many of the UK's best hill runners were joined by experienced road athletes to tackle the 6.4k route which climbed the 905m from Dodd Wood to the summit of one of the UK's most iconic mountains, Skiddaw.
