Qualify as a Level 2 Track & Field Official

Are you aged 14 or over and interested in becoming a qualified UKA Technical Official (Licensed at age 16 and over) in one of five different disciplines (Field, Photofinish, Starter/Starter's Assistant, Timekeeping, Track)? If yes, this course is for you! 20th March 2016 at Woodcote High School, Meadow Rise, Purley, Coulsdon, Surrey CR5 2EH

Topics covered:

  • Knowledge and application of rules and reporting infringements
  • How to follow a duty sheet
  • Judging (Including lap charts)
  • Operation of wind gauge, lap boards and bells
  • Use of flags at break-line and take-over boxes
  • Appropriate attire and equipment
  • Relationships with other officials and athletes
  • How to become a club, county or regional official and how to gain Officials license
