Here at goodr, we’re positively fun and irreverently absurd, and our CEO Carl the Flamingo gives you permission to unabashedly be yourself! We’re recklessly committed to fun…blah, blah, blah, sunglasses!

We have a simple philosophy, every product they create must speak to our 4 Fs: FUN, FASHIONABLE, FUNCTIONAL, ‘FFORDABLE. You’ll find crazy colours and names, wild limited editions, models so stylish you can wear them working out, or at happy hour – they’re made for athletes but available to anyone, starting at just £30!

History

goodr was started by three friends; running enthusiasts who saw a problem that needed to be solved.

THE PROBLEM: Running Sunglasses (and ‘active sunglasses’ in general) were expensive, pretty ugly, and over-engineered.

THE SOLUTION: Making running and active sunglasses that affordable for anyone, stylish enough for running, cycling, beasting in the gym, or slamming margheritas, and all performance!

And so, goodr was born. BOOM. Problem solved. Although we have communities specifically for runner, crossfitters, cyclists, and golfers…we make sunglasses for ALL athletes!

Product

During our seven-year overnight success, we’ve added five verticals (RUN, BEAST, BIKE, GOLF, GAME), expanded to nine(!!) frames, collaborated with major brands (Warner Bros, The Rolling Stones, Dunkin’ Donuts), and increased to 2,500+ stores in 20+ countries. In 2021, we launched The goodr Cabana, an experiential retail store located in the heart of Venice, CA. (It’s not a store. It’s a party! But it’s also a store.)

What’s more, our sunglasses have won several product awards, including Runner’s World Gear of the Year (three times!), a GQ Fitness Award, and a Women’s Health Fitness Award. Also, the brand received press coverage so good it FEELS like getting an award, like Oprah Daily’s Must-Have Gear, Rolling Stone’s Favourite Sunglasses For Athletes, and Inc. Magazine’s Best Places to Work.
