A family of athletes and runners of all abilities and backgrounds who come together via the club network because of a shared love of athletics and running.

There are so many reasons to get involved at your local athletics club.  Perhaps you want to…

  • Try new things?
  • Meet new people?
  • Have an extra support system?
  • Or take your athletics and running to the next level?

Whatever your motivation to join, your local club can help you make friends for life, experience something new and achieve more than you ever thought possible.

Why get involved?

In our opinion, joining your local club is the best decision you can make when it comes to athletics and running.

But don’t just take our word for it!  See what registered athletes Cleo Agyepong, Callum Elson and Phil Sesemann have to say about being a member of a club:

"There are no downsides to joining a club. You don't even have to join a club that is local to you and there are no entry standards to join a club. Everybody is welcome and able to compete at a competitive level."

Leeds City AC runners including Phil Sesemann and Emile Cairess

"I'd say on the whole clubs are very inclusive and a lot of fun. You're going to meet like-minded people and it can motivate and improve your training and hopefully performance."

Phil Sesemann, Leeds City athlete
Callum Elson

"It's a bold statement but I think joining a club is the best thing you can do. You can make an informed decision about the club and you can join in different capacities and for different motivations."

Callum Elson, Cambridge and Coleridge athlete
