Movement Skills Workshop: Part 2 - run, jump, throw (Chelmsford)

Venue: Chelmsford Sport & Athletics Centre, Salerno Way, Chelmsford, Essex CM1 2EH

Day two of a workshop on how to develop the movement skills which will enable your athletes to move more quickly and efficiently, generate greater force and reduce the risks of injury. Aimed at assisting all coaches, regardless of their qualification level, or the ability/age of the athletes they are working with.

National Performance Programme Weekend - Marathon Camp One

Venue: Forest of Dean

There will be a mixture of group training sessions and time to train, coach network and development sessions. Among those involved are Britain's second fastest female marathon runner Mara Yamauchi, leading physiologist Dr Charlie Pedlar and one of Britain's best endurance coaches Bud Baldaro.

National Speed Conference: Simplicity for Success

Venue: Ibis Hotel, 313 Hagley Road, Birmingham B16 9LQ (practical sessions at Alexander Stadium B42 2LR)

The National Speed Conference is back with a bang, with top speakers and practical sessions! The conference is open to coaches of all levels although the content will be tailored around Athletics Coach level and above.

Northwood Academy of Hurdles coaching series

Venue: Northwood Stadium Indoor Area, Keelings Road, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent ST1 6PA

Sessions provide the opportunity for coaches to work in small teams, enabling them to share ideas whilst working with athletes of their selected age group. The emphasis is on the technical development of hurdlers but other aspects of athlete development, e.g. strength and conditioning - will also figure.

Venue: English Institute of Sport, Coleridge Road, Sheffield S9 5DA

Focussing on how athletes can improve mobility, movement and therefore athletic performance, this workshop builds on the content in the England Athletics Movement Skills workshop. This workshop looks at movement assessment and interventions including use of foam rollers, hurdle mobility and coordination drills and strength training progressions.
