Movement Skills Workshop: Part 2 - run, jump, throw (Birmingham)

Venue: HiPAC, Alexander Stadium, Walsall Road, Perry Barr, Birmingham. West Midlands B42 2BE

Day two of a workshop on how to develop the movement skills which will enable your athletes to move more quickly and efficiently, generate greater force and reduce the risks of injury. This workshop is for coaches working with athletes who are club level through to aspiring to international level.

Northwood Academy of Hurdles coaching series

Venue: Northwood Stadium Indoor Area, Keelings Road, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent ST1 6PA

Sessions provide the opportunity for coaches to work in small teams, enabling them to share ideas whilst working with athletes of their selected age group. The emphasis is on the technical development of hurdlers but other aspects of athlete development, e.g. strength and conditioning - will also figure.

Marathon Preparation Evening (London)

Venue: Room G7, St Mary's University College, Twickenham TW1 4SX

For coaches and athletes working towards the Performance Marathon Group times. Ideal for coaches looking to develop coaching knowledge in the marathon and Good For Age (GFA) marathon runners. The evenings will include key speakers and discussion groups talking through practical experiences of marathon preparation.

From LiRF to CiRF - going from being a Run Leader to coaching your runners (Bexleyheath)

Venue: Bexleyheath Academy, Woolwich Rd, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA6 7DA

The step from being a leader to becoming a coach can be a challenge. This workshop will give detailed information on the differences between the roles and the steps leaders will take as they take a coaching qualification. The workshop is for people who are currently qualified Run Leaders* who are looking to progress to the Coach in Running Fitness Course.
