A range of opportunities are available for throws coaches throughout the year.
Loughborough University and UKA Athletics are hosting the European Athletics Association Throws Conference in November 2017. A world class line up of speakers and activities is planned. Click here to view more details about this conference
These activities will be targeted at all throws coaches with the aim of brining the throws community, coaches and athletes, together to network and drive performance. All sessions will involve practical activity. The national activities will be organised by the Coach and Athlete Development Manager for throws Rob Thickpenny and delivered by the Regional Coach Leads and other leading coaches.
- Practical activity with athletes to contextualize learning and development. Clearly mapped content will be detailed in the promotion of the events.
