Where can I find competitions?

If you are a competition organiser who needs to plot in your outdoor track and field events, an existing national fixtures list is essential. And for both athletes and their coaches, planning the competitive year ahead is vital when preparing a training schedule.

2024 competitions

If you are looking for a full list of 2024 fixtures to try and plot in your outdoor track and field events, then the best place to look at what has already been licensed is the competition finder. The licensing systems are automatically linked to this competition finder, meaning that even if a licence hasn’t yet been approved, as long as it has been applied for then you can see the competition.

If you want a full overview of the 2024 season to see where the Championship dates are, then the best tool for that is the UKA fixtures spreadsheet which can be downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet from the UKA website. The only drawback here is that it is a protected document so you can’t edit it once downloaded.

2025 competitions

If you are already thinking about 2025 dates as your 2024 dates have been confirmed, then you will be happy to hear that there will be two publications of the 2025 calendar this year. A new approach is being trialled, where the calendar will be published bi-annually, rather than annually. The first publication will be in March / April detailing the indoor and endurance dates, and the second date will be the more traditional date of September / October where the outdoor track and field fixtures will be shared.

Work has already begun taking place for the first publication of the calendar with the initial meeting taking place on Wednesday 17 January. Further updates will be available at the right time.
