Booking now open for England Athletics National Speed Conference: Simplicity for Success
The National Speed Conference is back with a bang, with top speakers and practical sessions! The conference is open to coaches of all levels although the content will be tailored around Athletics Coach level and above. The Conference will be geared around three main topics:
- Peaking on the day
- Developing speed and power
- Keeping athletes healthy
There will be practical application of theory with two practical sessions and fantastic networking opportunities.
Top speakers including Olympic coaches Stephen Maguire, Michael Afilaka, Shaun Pickering, Tony Lester, Eddie Mckenna and James Hillier will be presenting. Plus top support staff Arnold Vlok (part of Wayde Van Nierkerk’s therapy team) and Gareth Walton, and Saturday evening's dinner Guest Speaker is Commonwealth and Olympic Medalllist Phil Brown.
