Regional Councillors announced
England Athletics is delighted to confirm the appointment of a host of new Regional Councillors, following an open election process at the start of this year.
Applications were sought and encouraged from across the sport, to add new faces, expertise and passion to our existing Regional Council network – a key aspect of our governance structure.
Matthew Dalton, Chair of England Council, said:
"It was wonderful to see so many colleagues from across the country wanting to get involved in governing our sport. The regional councils are critical in advising the senior leadership team and Board and so the popularity is excellent news.
One region - the North West - needs a ballot to decide the successful candidates.
