Looking back on National Volunteers Week 2023

This year, National Volunteers Week took place from the 1-7 June. As ever, this national event presented the perfect opportunity to celebrate the hard work, dedication and commitment of volunteers across the country.

To honour this important occasion, we released a different story each day which was all about volunteering. Whether it was a case study from an official, a discount on coaching courses or a series of assets for club volunteers to use, there was plenty to get excited about. 

We want to make sure that those who didn’t get the chance to view this great content during National Volunteers Week, still have the opportunity to do so. You can still look back on all our exciting activity during the week, not to mention the incredible stories of volunteers who contribute their time week in, week out. 

Finally, on behalf of everyone at England Athletics, we would once again like to thank every volunteer across the country for their outstanding contribution to the sport.  Athletics and running would not be what it is today without each and every one of you.
