Williams and Webb join Team England

Bianca Williams and Jamie Webb will join Team England for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham following the withdrawals of Desiree Henry and Max Burgin.

Williams (coach: Linford Christie, club: Enfield and Haringey) and Webb (coach: Adrian Webb, club: Liverpool Harriers) are direct replacements in the women’s 4x100m relay team, and men’s 800m, respectively.

At this stage of the Games’ preparation, the replacement of athletes is specific to the event.

Selections were made according to the published England Commonwealth Games selection policy and qualification period.
