The England Athletics Senior Championships is part of the 2022 World Combined Events Tour.
The event was staged at the Bedford International Athletics Stadium on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May as a Silver Standard Meeting with €10,000 (Euros) prize money available.

Entry details
The event was open to athletes from England and overseas.
Please note: The number of entries was capped for each age groups as follows:
- 40 senior men: consisting of 25 English athletes and 15 international athletes
- 40 senior women: consisting of 25 English athletes and 15 international athletes
- 40 under 20 men: no restriction on breakdown of English/international athletes
- 40 under 20 women: no restriction on breakdown of English/international athletes
Entry standards
Entry standards were set for the senior event as detailed below.
- Senior international male athletes – 6800 points
- Senior English male athletes – 5000 points
- Senior international female athletes – 5400 points
- Senior English female athletes – 4500 points
For U20 athletes in 2021 who are now seniors in 2022, we accepted athletes with a Decathlon U20 PB of 5700 points.
U18 Event (selection for European Youths)
For athletes seeking selection for the European Youths, England Athletics agreed in partnership with British Athletics to provide a decathlon and heptathlon using under-18 hurdle and throws specifications.

2nd = €1500
3rd = €1000
4th = €500
General Information
Tickets: All spectators were required to purchase tickets in advance via Eventbrite.
Coach Accrediation: Coaches were required to register for accreditation via Eventbrite.
Anti Doping: Doping control took place during the meeting. All athletes should be aware of anti doping rules and regulations.
COVID information: Please review government guidelines for entry to the UK. There are currently no restrictions to travel to the UK. However, please check the GOV website for traveling from the UK.
