England Athletics member-elected director 2021: reminder
After providing all members with notice on the 15 September (click to download a text version), this is a further reminder that one of the two Board positions elected by the England Athletics membership is up for election at this year’s AGM on 23 October 2021.

Voting by proxy - closing date
The window for voting by proxy for a member-elected Board director candidate closes at 11am on Thursday 21 October, by which time all proxy forms must be returned as instructed in the form.
The proxy form for member clubs, which includes other voting items on the AGM agenda, is below:

Those member clubs attending the 2021 AGM on Saturday 23 October at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, NEC, Solihull B40 1PP are able, of course, to vote on agenda items in person.
How the England Athletics member-elected board director candidate process worked:
The application process for the position of England Athletics member-elected Board director opened on 1 July 2021.
Candidates had to complete the nomination form listing the names of the clubs which agreed to nominate them and the number of votes each was entitled to cast. Each candidate had to have at least eight supporters - including their own club - which, between them, are entitled to cast at least 15 votes.
Each supporting club had to complete a supporter form and submit this to England Athletics. The deadline for submitting nominations and supporter forms to England Athletics was Friday 27 August 2021.
Pre-AGM webinar (6 October)
We would encourage members to register for the pre-AGM webinar on Wednesday 6 October (6pm to 7pm). This will provide attendees with the opportunity to hear from representatives of the England Athletics’ Board of Directors on what will be discussed at the 2021 AGM. It will also feature an open Q&A session where members will have the opportunity to ask the panel questions relating to the AGM. Members are invited to pre-submit questions in advance of this session via an online form.
