The 2024 fixtures calendar
We are delighted to announce that the 2024 fixtures calendar has now been published following a consultation on 16 September.
A wide range of representatives were present at the meeting including both UKA and the Home Country Athletics Federations, event specific providers, National and Area League representatives, Area Associations, and Loughborough University to mention a few. Other competition providers were consulted but sent their apologies for the meeting.
The England Athletics Championships
There will be three National Indoor Championships hosted by England Athletics this year, as was the case during 2023. These fixtures will be the Combined Events and Senior and U20 Championships in January, the U15, U17 and U20 Indoor Championships in February and the Combined Events U15 and U17 Indoor Championships in March.
The outdoor Track and Field Championship calendar will look different to previous years. The outdoor Championships have been condensed and will take place across two weekends, the first for the Senior and U20 athletes and the second for the U15 and U17 athletes. Both Championships will remain integrated and Para events will be included. The decision to condense the schedule has been made based on feedback from athletes and careful analysis of the Championship programme. We look forward to hosting both weekends in the summer.
