Steeplechase training and racing opportunities in the East

training and racing opportunities will be held in West Suffolk this spring led by experienced steeplechase coach David Cripps.

The free training sessions will be held at the West Suffolk Arena, in Bury St Edmonds, from 10am – 3pm on 14th April and 27th May. They will cater for those wanting to try the event for the first time, as well as more experienced steeplechasers eager to develop.

A starter and timekeeper will be available for the race on 9th June, should there be sufficient interest in a last chance to get ESAA qualifying times. 9th June will see many County Schools competitions where frequently there are athletes running a lonely time trial with no help from a field of competitors; the race is aimed at those who would benefit from getting a quick time posted. Entry will cost £8 per athlete.
