Listen to the full set of Coaching Voices interviews now

England Athletics has published the final one of a set of twelve special interviews which explore the history of coaching in the United Kingdom.

The aim of the Coaching Voices series, which has featured on the England Athletics Podcast, has been to capture the knowledge, expertise and personality of renowned coaches.

The project has been led by Olympic coach Tom McNab and in the final concluding episode, he describes his memories of watching great athletes and what he has learned from them.

Referencing discussion from the ten other coaches he has interviewed during the past year, the author and former athlete tells Alex Seftel how coaching has developed during his time in the sport and how it could change in future.

He also pays tribute to Dick Fosbury, who died earlier in March, and reminisces about his role as Technical Director of the famous film Chariots of Fire.

The full set of 12 episodes - which have featured Carol Jackson, Peter Warden, Gordon Adams, Peter Stanley, Tony Hadley, Frank Attoh, Mike Winch, Judy Oakes, Malcolm Arnold and Hamish Telfer, are all available to listen to on your favourite podcast platform.
