Excellent top tips at Masters winter training day

Sunday saw a break in the weather and the latest of the Masters winter endurance training days. Besides being the fastest ever Masters workshop to sell out, it attracted athletes from far and wide, including Folkestone, Weston-super-Mare, Stockport and Southport.

The day started with an outline of the Masters programme and 2026 qualification opportunities for England athletes. Jana Wilkins delivered a session on 'nutrition for masters athletes' - exploring how to build a strong foundation with what you eat, and explaining the link between hydration, performance and nutrition for racing.
