Celebrating volunteer milestones

While National Volunteers Week provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate volunteers across the country, we wanted to create a series of assets that would allow us to recognise the achievements of volunteers all year round. That is why we have produced a series of volunteer milestone graphics for both individuals and clubs to share on social media. 

Every year that a volunteer offers their service is a milestone in itself but, in keeping with traditional landmark celebrations, we have created assets that celebrate 1, 5, 10 and 20 years’ service as a Coach, Club Volunteer, Leader or Official. Each milestone asset is available in the correct size for Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. All you need to do is download the graphic and post it on social media. If you do decide to post, why not use the hashtag #EAMilestone so we can celebrate your important milestone with you?

We plan to add additional assets in the future so please do check back regularly to see if there are any you would like to use, either to celebrate your own achievements as a volunteer or to recognise the accomplishments of others.

In honour of National Volunteers Week, we thought we would highlight two of the latest Club Hub collections which relate specifically to volunteering:

• Volunteer Recruitment – Recruiting volunteers is not an easy task and it is made even more challenging with big issues in wider society.  This collection will help you to approach volunteer recruitment differently and use best practice from across athletics and running clubs, other sports and the wider volunteering sector.
• Volunteer experience – It is important that we value the contributions of volunteers, offer help and advice when required, and continue to create a positive volunteering experience for all.  This collection has been designed to aid you in this process.
