Celebrating National Volunteers' Week

What better time than National Volunteers' Week to celebrate the hard work, dedication and passion of volunteers across the country? Volunteers truly are the lifeblood of our sport. Without them, athletics and running would cease to exist. The England Athletics family would like to thank each and every one of you for your outstanding contribution to our sport!

Say a special thank you with the Regional Volunteer Awards

Or perhaps your club has done a community project to be proud of? Nominate them in one of our eight categories today and celebrate their outstanding contribution. Make sure you don't delay, as nominations will close soon on 18 June 2024.

Creating a positive volunteer experience

Volunteers are a crucial part of every athletics and running club. It’s important that we value their contributions, offer help and advice when required, and continue to create a positive volunteering experience for all. Whether you are a volunteer coordinator or committee member in your club, it is important that together we help make volunteers feel valued and part of the England Athletics family. Take a look at this below collection on Club Hub about how to keep your volunteers engaged and having fun!
