This winter England Athletics is delivering a series of workshops available to coaches working at all levels, across all event groups. Many coaches have already attended events and you can get involved to help develop your coaching and help your athletes to get more from the sport.

England Athletics are pleased to announce the England team for the Anglo Celtic Plate 100k Home International which takes place in Redwick in South Wales on Saturday 31st March. A team of four men and two women will represent England over this gruelling challenge.

A team of 9 athletes, 4 coaches and physio travelled to Hustopece, Czech Republic to compete in the High Jump Gala in the Sport Halle. Of the 5 competitions on the day, England athletes competed with distinction in 4 of them. The England team also had the opportunity to network with the Elite athletes and their coaches, and all returned home suitably inspired for the forthcoming season.
Naomi Ogbeta, was the stand-out performer in a strong outing by the England team in Bratislava. Naomi produced a new British U23 Indoor Triple Record of 13.52m to take victory in the women's triple jump. This was alongside several other England athletes recording personal and season's bests.

Registered Guide Runner Colin Johnson continues to put visually impaired running on the map. He was recently filmed for BBC Inside Out West where he was helping a visually impaired 9-year-old to train for a parkrun and get his whole family active.
Much attention this weekend was on the area cross country championships (reports here) and Laura Muir's Scottish 800m record (report here). Also, Edoburun clocks a world-class 60m PB, while Lily Partridge wins the Seville Half and Holly Mills is third at the Combined Events International.
Six coaches and athletes from across the south west of England attended a regional throws workshop at Yate Athletics Track on 21 January. The focus of the day was on the technical progressions of all four throws.
