The UKA Rules of Competition regarding Composite Teams require that all clubs intending to enter composite teams in league competitions must register their intention by 30th September in the previous year. If you intend to continue your existing arrangement into 2018 you should complete and return the composite club form and contact details.
After two years of groundwork, the Hammer Circle, with funding from England Athletics and donations from members, established a team of junior hammer throwers to experience international competition abroad. The competition; the EAP Leiria International Throwing Meeting in Portugal.

The England Athletics Trial Races for the Junior Home International Mountain Running Championships took place in Sedbergh on Sunday 27th August. The England trial races for the Junior Home International mountain race have produced strong teams across both age groups.
England Athletics will be hosting regional coach and athlete workshops covering Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump - aimed at at Coaching Assistant and Athletics Coach level. The workshop will be a 1.5 hour theory based session on physical preparation and planning and a 1.5 hour practical session with an event specialist. Details of more Regional Coach and Athlete Workshops will follow.
On a weekend that included the Weltklasse Zrich IAAF Diamond League meeting, the World University Games, the England Under-17 and Under-15 Championships and the Scottish Championships, there was still plenty of other action and some top results both in the UK and overseas, including ISTAF Berlin performances and Simplyhealth Great Aberdeen Run results.
