Take your coaching to the next level in 2018

This winter England Athletics is delivering a series of workshops available to coaches working at all levels, across all event groups. Many coaches have already attended events and you can get involved to help develop your coaching and help your athletes to get more from the sport.

CEO Club Visits - City of Plymouth AC

England Athletics' Chief Executive, Chris Jones, and Facilities Planning Manager, Jonathan Lee, headed down to the South West to visit the Devon club along with Club Support Manager Richard Ayling.

My Story - Running saved my life

To support Time to Talk Day on Thursday 1st February, England Athletics are encouraging people to #RunAndTalk to improve their mental wellbeing through running and to break down the stigma associated with mental health by getting people talking. This is Sam's story.

Reaching high in Hustopece

A team of 9 athletes, 4 coaches and physio travelled to Hustopece, Czech Republic to compete in the High Jump Gala in the Sport Halle. Of the 5 competitions on the day, England athletes competed with distinction in 4 of them. The England team also had the opportunity to network with the Elite athletes and their coaches, and all returned home suitably inspired for the forthcoming season.

Couldn't be better for Ogbeta in Bratislava

Naomi Ogbeta, was the stand-out performer in a strong outing by the England team in Bratislava. Naomi produced a new British U23 Indoor Triple Record of 13.52m to take victory in the women's triple jump. This was alongside several other England athletes recording personal and season's bests.

Athletics Weekly's latest weekly round-up

Much attention this weekend was on the area cross country championships (reports here) and Laura Muir's Scottish 800m record (report here). Also, Edoburun clocks a world-class 60m PB, while Lily Partridge wins the Seville Half and Holly Mills is third at the Combined Events International.
