CEO Club Visit - Lawley Running Club

England Athletics Chief Executive Chris Jones headed along for a run at the Telford based club and met volunteers and club members. Chris was joined by Dean Hardman, England Athletics' Head of Business Partnerships and Major Events. The two headed out with two of the different groups on offer to meet different people and enjoy different sessions.

10k victory for England Masters over Celtic Nations

Masters runners from across the UK gathered in Birmingham over the weekend to compete in an England versus Celtic Nations match incorporated within the Simplyheath Great Birmingham 10k. 130 runners from approximately 75 affiliated clubs and representing age groups V35 through to V85, joined world class athletes, Olympians and senior England internationals on an elite start line.

Getting disabled and non-disabled people running together

On Bank Holiday Monday 7 May 2018, Cambridge charity Power2Inspire is organising a new Super Sensory 1k event at Histon and Impington Recreation Ground as part of the annual Impington Festival of Running. The event celebrates inclusion and getting disabled and non-disabled people participating in physical activity together.

England on the podium at Austria's Attnanger Mile

England Athletics sent a team of 4 men to compete in the Attnanger Mile event held in Austria last week on the 28th April. The event was well supported and 8 nations were represented in the field of runners. After a very close and competitive race, England came away with Silver and Bronze medals from Phil Norman and Josh Carr respectively.

England U20 teams bring home silver and bronze in Italy

The England U20 teams brought home silver and bronze following a successful afternoon of road-racing in Oderzo, Italy, where the men's and women's teams were led home by Julia Paternain and Nathan Dunn who both earned individual silver medals with two fine performances.
