Licence module resources
During 2026 the requirements to renew your officials’ licence will be changing. This follows a thorough review of incidents being reported at licensed events by the UKA Health and Safety Advisor. We received a clear recommendation that identified the need to review and update the Health and Safety training received by officials and the need to ensure all officials kept their knowledge in this area current. As a result, all officials renewing their licence will be required to complete a DBS check and the new mandatory online training module.
Mandatory online training module
(launch date - TBC)
This new mandatory online training module will replace the previous standalone safeguarding module.
The module is free for officials (who are officials only, and not also coaches). It consists of two sections - Safeguarding and Health and Safety. Endurance Officials are only required to complete the Safeguarding section of the new mandatory training module. However, those who wish to broaden their knowledge are welcome to complete both sections of the mandatory training module.
Further information will be provided with details of the exact date these requirements come into force.
