Response to confirmed 2022 London Marathon date and impact on selection process for Commonwealth Games

We are aware of the decision by the organisers of the London Marathon to hold next year’s race on Sunday 2 October 2022 and we know athletes and coaches will have questions around how this affects the selection process for English athletes for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

We are looking at various alternatives for selection for the marathon and will release more information in due course.
