England Athletics Events
England Athletics is keen to grow and develop the sport at every level by providing high quality local athletics and running opportunities. In order to support the run leaders in the North East we are putting on a Run Leader Workshop series.
The 6th British Athletics Women in Coaching Conference is an initiative delivered by the British Athletics Women in Coaching Advisory Group. Aligned to the aims of the group, the theme of this year conference is Inspire, Influence, Inform.
Trafford AC is proud to announce its inaugural BMC Track Festival. The all day programme of races will cater for elite to recreational runner, and is part of the Run Britain Grand Prix Series. The men's and women's A races will be paced, and all athletes will receive a commemorative medal and a chip recorded time.
The theme for this event is 'Creating a Robust Athlete' and as such may be of interest to coaches working across all event groups as well as endurance. The weekend aims to bring together coaches, coach educators and medical practitioners to help develop an understanding of what a robust athlete looks like and how to develop 'robustness'.
North Cumbria Athletics Network (NCAN) in association with Active Cumbria are holding a social media workshop for members of NCAN and registered Run England groups.
The SEAOA (Southern Officials') Conference will take place. Following a vote at the February 2014 conference it was decided to hold the conference in the Autumn instead, hence two in 2014.
