EDM Play Day for officials: 21st February

Venue: near Brentwood, Essex

Precision Athletics are running the first 2016 session of their popular free "Play Days" on 21st February. The EDM is the Electronic Distance Measuring device used by field judges at meetings and this is a good chance to get to grips with EDM equipment in an informal setting.

Coach Development: Hammer Workshop

This 3 hour coach development session will allow you to take an active role in improving your coaching knowledge of Hammer. It will include both theory and technical components of the throw as well some practical work on the track.

SCUK Effective Communication; Coaching Deaf People in Sport workshop

Venue: Bolton Wanderers FC, Macron Stadium, Burden Way, Bolton, Greater Manchester BL6 6JW

Developed in partnership with UK Deaf Sport and the National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS) this is an interactive workshop that will help develop your communication skills, so you can fully include deaf people of all ages.

LCDP Regional Technical Day

The aim of the Regional Technical Workshops is to provide technical 'what to coach' material with the aim of supporting the content contained on the Athletics Coach or Coach in Running Fitness qualifications, but also adding to the knowledge and practice base of established coaches
