South West Officials Taster Day

Athletics South West, supported by England Athletics, is hosting a new Officials Taster Day on Saturday 14th March at Exeter Arena from 10:00-13:00.

This is a chance for any budding athletic official to try out all events and disciplines (such as measuring, timing, judging etc.) in a relaxed and fun session. Participants will be guided and mentored by qualified officials but will be able to get hands-on experience of all track and field events including photofinish and starting.

The minimum age for participants is 14 years old. The activity is free to attend and there is a lunch provided at 13:00 if participants wish to stay on. There will also be officials' workshops after lunch which participants are also welcome to attend.
