YDL: an enthralling weekend of track and field

Blackheath and Bromley Harriers AC took top spot in both the upper and lower age-group competitions at this weekend’s Youth Development League National Finals 2023.

The Manchester Regional Arena was the backdrop for an enthralling weekend of track and field featuring some of the country’s younger club athletes.

And it was Blackheath who retained their titles in both the upper and lower age-group competitions with a points score of 819 and 662, respectively.

With the older athletes, Rugby and Northampton AC came second (705), followed by Harrow and Dacorum (634), City of York (631.5), Team Avon (619), and Trafford AC (536.5)
