UKA vacancy – Independent Chair for UK Rules Group

UK Athletics are seeking to recruit a new Independent Chair to lead and oversee the UKA Rules Group.

The Group’s role is to advise, and make recommendations to, the UKA Board from time to time, as appropriate, concerning, and only concerning, matters relating to the rules for competition.

This individual will work collaboratively with the UKA Board, Senior Executives, and other key stakeholders to ensure that the Rules Group operates effectively and functions efficiently in line with the groups wider Terms of Reference.

• Remuneration: £3,000 per annum plus travel and other reasonable expenses.
• Time commitment: average 1 day per month with four to five meetings per year.
• Term:   The appointment will be for an initial period of two years. The Chair can be appointed up to a maximum of 8 years in two year increments.
