Tickets now on sale for Manchester International
Tickets are now on sale for the Manchester International 2018 on Wednesday 15 August where England will take on teams from Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ulster, Great Britain & NI Under 20s, Iceland, the British Athletics League and UK Women's League, and other international representatives including from Denmark.
With adult tickets costing just £5 and FREE entry for Under 16s the event looks set to be a great evening once again. Tickets are available from Manchesterinternationalathletics.co.uk.
The event will once again take place on Wednesday 15th August at Manchester Regional Arena. The Manchester International provides a great spectacle for the spectators as well as a tremendous competition opportunity for the athletes involved. Last year the action included great competition between the nationals involved as well as the Athens 2004 Olympic 4 x100 champions digging out their spikes to return to the track.
England Athletics Teams and Competitions Manager, Andy Day, said, “This match has always provided a great competition with the home countries not only competing against each other but also other international athletes.
"We know that every athlete who pulls on an international vest takes tremendous pride in representing their country and this always makes for a tremendous atmosphere at the Manchester International. Since the first match in 2016 the athletes have always had a real buzz around the event. When athletes are enjoying the competition and striving to produce the best possible performance, not only for themselves but also for their country, that quickly transfers to the spectators."
