The Competition Conference is back for 2023!
After a highly successful inaugural event last year, the Competition Conference will be returning to Warwick next month on 4 November (2pm–5pm, Delta Hotel by Marriott, Warwick).
This year to help bring the England Athletics community together, we are combining the Competition Conference with the England Athletics Council Conference. Join us for a three-hour action-packed session facilitated by the fantastic Olympian, coach, and commentator Jenny Meadows.
During the session we will hear a statistical analysis from 2019 to 2023 by Mick Lee, England Athletics Insight Manager and also hear from athletes about how they want to change the future of competition in England.
Accompanying this will be an evidence-based presentation on the vision for the track and field competition structure in the future. Participants will be invited throughout the day to share their thoughts and ask any questions, concluding with small breakout discussions giving everyone the opportunity to review and feedback on the sessions.
Any feedback given through the day will be collated and reviewed with tangible actions and outcomes incorporated into future competitions.

As we will be combining the Competition Conference with the England Council Conference, all Regional Councillors are guaranteed a place, but everyone who intends to come along to the day will need to reserve your free place on Eventbrite.
