Team announced for Armagh International 2026
England Athletics is delighted to announce a strong team of eight athletes selected to represent England at the 2026 Armagh International Road Races on Thursday 12 February 2026.
An England team has represented at this event for a number of years and it is a great opportunity for our developing road runners who won both men's and women's team trophies last year. This year's team includes a number of last year's competitors including members of the trophy-winning men's team. The women compete over 3k whilst the men’s race takes place over 5k.Â
National Endurance Manager for Off-Track Andrew Heyes said:
"The Armagh International Road Race has a tremendous reputation for providing an electric event for those both racing and spectating. It doesn’t just offer an opportunity for fast times, but fiercely competitive racing with one of the deepest fields in Europe. We are delighted to be able to select such a strong team to represent England for 2026. Congratulations to the athletes selected, their coaches, and the clubs."
