Personal Best Foundation launches its ‘Purpose’ campaign

Changing young lives through athletics starts now with the launch of our first campaign about our purpose.

From today, the Personal Best Foundation, supported by England Athletics, is live, marking the start of its vital work to raise funds, research the challenges and provide increased opportunities and interventions to engage, inspire and support children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and communities, helping change young lives through athletics.

To mark this special occasion, the Foundation is sharing its purpose in a campaign that aims to bring to life how the power of athletics can help provide children and young people facing family poverty as well as those from ethnically diverse communities with the opportunity to participate and reach their full potential in athletics, breaking down social inequalities and improving their health and wellbeing.

The campaign is designed to visually articulate how the story of inequality, poverty, and low esteem is contributing to the declining physical, mental and social health of children and young people, and how this can be changed through the power of athletics.
