Manchester International is BACK for 2025!
The Manchester International is back in 2025 with a new, improved format. Once again this event will be held at the World Athletics certified Track, the Manchester Regional Arena on the 30 August 2025.
The Manchester International will no longer be a Team event, in 2025 this event will be an individual event and has a European Athletics Challenger permit, meaning prize money!
Events within this programme have been determined based on competitive opportunities for these event groups to obtain qualification standards for the Commonwealth Games in 2026.
The event will also be WPA endorsed, and all prize money will be equitable.
The prize structure for all non-development events will be:
- 1st place £400
- 2nd place: £300
- 3rd place £200
- 4th place £100
Events
There will be a limited number of European Athletics Challenger Events taking place at the Manchester International. For both male and female these will include: mile, 3000m steeplechase, pole vault, hammer throw, 400m hurdles, long jump.
Para events
The Para athletics events are still to be finalised, however 12 of the below 13 events will be hosted and we are currently welcoming expressions of interest for the below events - those with the highest expressions of interest will be hosted:

In addition to the Commonwealth Games events, development events will also be included, these will be confirmed once the expression of interest is closed.
Priority will be given to those classes which are part of the Commonwealth Games programme. Entry for each event will be £20 and there will be no accommodation or travel expenses paid for this event.
